FIFA World Cup 2018 Groups And Teams

2018 Russia World Cup draw is done and all teams are ready to give their best performance during the tournament. There are total 8 groups for the 2018 World Cup and each group contains 4 nations. Lets have a detailed look at the FIFA World Cup groups and teams.

GROUP A

RUSSIA

As host nation, Russia got qualified automatically for the FIFA World Cup. As a team their performance is very poor and failed to qualify the group stages of any tournament since 2008.

SAUDI ARABIA

Saudi Arabia is playing World Cup football for the fifth time. And till now their best-ever performance at World Cup was the second-round exit to Sweden at the 1994 tournament in the United States.

EGYPT

Egypt got qualified for FIFA World Cup after a very log time. Last time they played the tournament in 1990. The team recently reached the African Cup of Nations.

Portugal is Cristiano Ronaldo's team. And it is his last tournament to fulfill his dream of winning a World Cup.

This team got qualified for fourth consecutive World Cup. Australia was the next-to-last team to to clinch a spot at the 2018 edition.

The team did very well in World Cup qualifying matches. Much of the team's base players are now in Mexican clubs.

DENMARK

It is one of the fastest-improving teams in Europe and we can expect much more from this team. But everything depends on the form of their key player Christian Eriksen.
